Born from a deep love for animals and the belief that all creatures deserve to Thrive - in nature, in life, and in health.
At Thrive, our journey started with a simple truth: animals were never meant to live in confinement, nor eat lifeless, overprocessed food. Watching our own dogs struggle with dull coats, low energy, and health challenges pushed us to ask harder questions – about commercial pet food, ethical sourcing, and what it means to truly nourish.
What we found was unacceptable: ultra-processed formulas made with low-grade meat, synthetic additives, and ingredients no dog would choose.
We believed there had to be a better way.

We turned to nature – not just as a model, but as a guide. In the natural world, animals roam, forage, hunt, and Thrive on what nature intended: raw, whole foods, rich in nutrients, not numbers.
This is where the Thrive concept was born.
We ethically source from free-ranging animals – raised or harvested with dignity, never confined, never forced. From wild venison to whole sardines, every ingredient in our meals is chosen for its biological appropriateness, its origin, and its impact on animal health.

A Breeder’s Journey to Raw Nutritionand the Creation of Thrive
As a dedicated breeder of Hungarian Vizsla dogs, my journey into canine nutrition began out of necessity—and deep concern.
Over the years, I tried nearly every premium kibble brand available. Yet, time and again, I was left disappointed. The results never aligned with the promises—or the price tags. One of my imported dogs constantly struggled with skin irritation; another battled chronic digestive issues.
At the same time, I became increasingly aware of a worrying trend—the rise of cancer and chronic illnesses in our canine companions. It led me to question: could our dogs’ diet be the root cause?
In my own life, I had already shifted from processed foods to natural, whole ingredients—and it dawned on me that our dogs deserve the same. Research reinforced what instinct was already telling me: modern dog food, packed with fillers and unnatural ingredients, bears little resemblance to what dogs are biologically designed to eat.
So I made the switch. I transitioned my pack of ten Vizslas to a fresh, raw diet—supplemented only by free-access kibble during the day. The transformation in their health, energy, and condition was undeniable.
